What's the easiest /quickest way to restore all files/folders within a snapshot and all permissions?

Hello Spaceboy,
Thank you for your question. But the question is a bit to broad to give a good answer.

I am aware the user manual needs improvement but you might want to have a look into it and tell us what you miss.

Just select one snapshot in the timeline (left in the main window) and then go to the "Restore" menu in the menubar.

Regards,
Christian

Yes, found it out in a YouTube video, was thinking you could only restore one folder at a time. Would like to do it with the terminal but.MAN pages are less than intuitive IMO.

Also it's there any advantage doing restoring from a different linux OS or I presumably it won't make a difference?

Thank you for the feedback. Please link the video.
Improving the man page is also on our list. ;)
But there are restore commands on CLI (shell).
