I believe that I cannot use the bedrock-tool properly because of the most recent Minecraft update to version 1.21.50.
When trying to connect to a realm through the tool's proxy which is listening on 127.0.0.1:19132 my Minecraft client shows an error.
I have also attached screenshots from the GUI and the CLI to show that the tool was in fact trying to connect to the server...

Also experiencing this, they updated networking protocol to version 766, it was on 748 before.
