Further development

It seems as if this module is abandoned. I understand that developers move on to other projects. I also abandoned projects as my interests changed.

This module has a user base, as you can see in the pull requests. It's sad if they wouldn't get merged.

@bbecquet: Do you think you could move the project to the Leaflet organization and also grant them rights to the npm package? Then others could take over further development ...

I would recommend to anyone blocked by the lack of progress on this module to look at an alternative. I had a very easy time implementing leaflet-ant-path and the corresponding react-leaflet-ant-path. It is updated for latest leaflet and accomplishes the same affect for me that this module (implying motion/direction). I appreciate the year or two I was able to use this module, but this doesn't play nicely with latest leaflet and definitely doesn't play nicely with react-leaflet.
