italic comment?

I like this theme, can you implement support for italic comment please?
I tried to add highlight Comment cterm=italic into vimrc, but doesn't seem work.

This repository is still unmaintained unfortunately.
Use my fork instead :)
You'll get support for italic comments as well as a bunch of bug fixes and consistency fixes.
