This release recreates the icons based on the 2020-04-30 (7.0-2020.04.30) updated AWS Architecture Icons.

Updates

• Release 7.0-2020.04.30 AWS published icons.

Breaking Changes

• All of the resources icons added do not follow the [email protected] or [email protected] file naming conventions, and the image sizes differ and do not meet the minimum size needed to render
• CodeGuru (Machine Learning service) was removed from Management & Governance. It was not added to Machine Learning due to file naming conventions
• Transfer Family was added to Migration and Transfer, and TransferForSFTP was removed due to resource file naming conventions

Fixes

• Reference to AWScommon.puml corrected to AWSCommon.puml in the icon-builder.py script in PR #21 (thanks @Crashedmind)!

This release recreates the icons based on the 2019-10-31 (5.0-2019-10-31) updated AWS Architecture Icons.

Breaking Changes

There were a few icons that reverted to old case style and were fixed. In some cases it was a missing lower-to-upper case change, and in one case, an upper-to-lower case change. The next release will include logic to detect there changes and alert or update GitHub. HFS+ gotchas.

• GlueDatacatalog -> GlueDataCatalog
• Quicksight -> QuickSight
• WAFFilteringRule -> WAFFilteringrule (upper-to-lower)

Also, to correct for duplicates and retired icons, the following breaking changes were made:

• The PIOP icon was removed from the Databases category
• In ManagementAndGovernance, AWSCommandLineInterface is now AWSCLI
• In Compute, EC2AutoScalingResource has been renamed to EC2AutoScaling

• There is a new top-level category for Customer Enablement named CustomerEnablement, with the new AWS IQ Service

Updates:

• Breaking Change - SimpleNotificationServiceSNS is now SNS, and SimpleQueueServiceSQS is SQS - This is now reflected in master branch and from release 4.0 and all future releases.
• Source files now no longer have non-ASCII characters embedded.

Fixes:

• Git ignore file changes to clear out source/official directory.
