The KCL version 1.14.0 has cross DDB table interference risks when you run multiple KCL applications in same JVM. Also there can be a potential stale checkpoint issue blocking children shards from processing during resharding. We are releasing a fix in 1.14.1 version. ETA - 01/28/2021

The mitigation for customers in 1.14.0 who are facing blocked children shards is to bounce the fleet and then migrate to 1.14.1 version.
