EKS Fargate supports only EFS as of now. For a use case of use of SMB share with EKS Fargate pods.

Tell us about the problem you're trying to solve. What are you trying to do, and why is it hard?
EKS Fargate supports EFS only for today #826 . Looking for support of SMB share as well.
