The current pinned kernel version (v4.14.204) doesn't build successfully with modern binutils. The kernel's built objtool in v4.14.204 doesn't handle missing sections, while modern binutils is omitting these instead of generating empty sections.

Rolling the kernel version to v4.14.314 (the latest v4.14.x branch release) builds and the built kernel image seems to work fine as an enclave kernel. However, I've only tested x86_64.
