Hi everyone, I'm new to setting up HyperHDR and slowly piecing things together.
My setup consists of HyperHDR running on a RPi4 connected via USB to a Pimoroni RP2040.
The pico is flashed with the appropriate firmware and is recognized by HyperHDR when selecting the "output path":
My next step is to get the pico wired up with the LEDs (SK6812 RGBW) but before I do it, I just wanted to make sure I'm wiring things correctly. The power for the LEDs will be coming from a power supply providing DC 5V 20A.
I plan to connect the LEDs +5V and GND to the power supply's V+ and V- respectively. The Data from the LED is going to go to the Pico's DA terminal. Am I also supposed to take the power supply's V+ and V- to the Pico's 5V and "-" terminals too?
The LED strip will be approx. 4m and will just be the one segment going around the TV. Based on the single segment schematic below, it looks like the +5V and GND of the LED strip is actually a closed loop. I just wanted to verify that this is indeed correct.
