In the supported list says Ubuntu 24.04, but it does not work:

I think you are referring to the repology list. It just means the package is available for distribution in Ubuntu.
I imagine it won't work on Ubuntu until GNOME's Mutter compositor supports the Wayland virtual keyboard protocol.
