From Messages paste only pasting the first number

We have a IOS React Native App that contains a webview, that webview shows this react-pin-input, however this compoent does not seem play nicely with the IOS 'From Messages' feature, where you can paste in the code sent in a SMS message. Only the first number is pasted - i have provided a couple of screengrabs illustrating the issue
