According to Apple's Crawler docs, it doesn't seem like Applebot-Extended is ever sent as a User-Agent but instead can be used by a robots.txt to opt-out of Applebot scraping being included in models.

We should analyze some real Applebot traffic to verify that Applebot-Extended is not sent in the User-Agent header.
