Maybe in help text?
Results for multiple terms seem to be a bit opaque in relevance ranking (example: New Journal of Physics in "all fields").

This came up again recently. One of our colleagues at CERN wrote the following:

I have also seen that the sorting by relevance doesn't seem to work on
the web interface, as it is still sorted by date.

So it would be good to explain relevance.
