Ham steaks cooked in a sweet and sour sauce with pineapple tidbits.
- Do not turn stove up too high or the sauce will pop all over the place.

Lemon Juice | 1 tbsp | 15 ml |
Ground Nutmeg | 1 tsp | 5 ml |
- Pre-heat a large frying pan over low heat.
- In a medium bowl, whisk the juice from two cans of pineapple tidbits, yellow mustard, maple syrup, lemon juice, and nutmeg together.
- Spread ham steaks out in frying pan.
- Whisk liquid mixture once more before pouring into pan.
- Flip ham regularly so that they get coated on both sides and heated evenly.
- Cook until sauce starts to thicken.
- When sauce is thick and sticky, add in 1 can of pineapple tidbits.
- Keep cooking for another 5-10 minutes until sauce thickens again.
- Take ham steaks out.
- Keep cooking pineapple and sauce until pineapple is warm and golden and sauce is thick.
- Pour sauce and pineapple over ham steaks and serve.
