Releases: annotation/text-fabric
For tool registry
10.2.4 had an error in the codemeta-harvest.json.
It has been fixed in a commit, but the fix must also be in a tagged release.
For CLARIAH registry and Zenodo
Only some metadata has changed. This will trigger a harvest by Zenodo and by the CLARIAH software metadata registry.

Unified Display.
Version 8 has unified nearly all code in nine corpus specific apps and drawn it into the general framework.
Still, this is not the last word on displaying nodes in a generic, corpus agnostic way.
We can do better. This step was needed to build a platform where we can experiment with various algorithms on very diverse corpora.
Sophisticated data retrieval from repos
Version 7.6 introduced more sophisticated data retrieval from GitHub:
-
not only zips attached to releases, but any subfolder from any commit
-
The TF-API makes use of the new capabilities through the parameter
checkout
with values -
''
(default): latest release or latest commit -
latest
: latest release -
hot
: latest commit -
xxx
: specific version tag -
fff
: specific commit hash -
local
: the available local copy in the text-fabric-data folder -
clone
: the available copy in a local repo clone
Moved house to annotation
This repo has moved house from Dans-labs to
annotation, a new organization.
The reason is that we have separated the TF apps from the TF core.
Before, the apps were part of the TF repo, now they have their separate repos.
Yet we still want apps and core under one organisation, until both mature further.
The Dans-labs org hosts many unrelated repos,
so for the sake of clarity we put TF and its apps under a new, dedicated organization.
Update to Zenodo
There is not yet a version 5 release in Zenodo. This version contains the text-fabric browser and the apps bhsa and cunei.
