It looks like they're finally making some progress with dsnopek/anki-sync-server#28, so I've gone ahead and added support for a custom sync server.
Fixes #1057 and supersedes #680
This also makes it clear that AnkiWeb is not affiliated with AnkiDroid in response to the results of the recent survey.
