*.ftl is not associated with the Generic Text Editor #1

On a new Photon M6 installation. There were some installation warnings, see at the [*]. Syntax highlighting is not happening (text color is just black everywhere), because the file is not opened with
the "Generic Text Editor" (as it's called under the "Open with..." menu), but with the plain "Text Editor". Probably relevant error log entry:

@ddekany I have fixed the problem about using generic editor when file is opened (without doing Open with).

If you open the ftl file with generic editor, have you syntax coloration?

Yes, now it's associated with the proper editor, and is syntax highlighted.
