Request to add in selling price

I know that their is a unit price but is it possible to add in the selling price of an item? IE: I bought soap at 2$ a bar and sold it for 4$ a bar so that would be 2$ in profit. Would their be a way to do that with the current system?

add extra field named "Cost Price", So the cost-price would be subtract from unit-price . You can add cost price in both inventory and transactions. I have already added Cost Price .
