Licensing & Copyright

This project is not affiliated with Amazon in any copyright sort of way. We just use their AVS API that they were so kind to open up to developers.

All parts of this project (files, wiki documentation) are subject to the project LICENSE and the authors should be authors from the git log with these exceptions:

• src/alexapi/tunein.py is stolen from https://github.com/kingosticks/mopidy-tunein/blob/develop/mopidy_tunein/tunein.py
• src/resources/ - the situation about licensing is not clear; the mp3s seem to be downloaded Alexa's recordings
• since Sam made version1.1 in a way that it didn't share history with the branch of the previous version, git log of that is lost (can be viewed in the original repo)

If you want to do a commercial product that includes AlexaPi, see the project license (link above). The best and most effective way to include this project (and any other) is if you upstream your changes and don't keep an outdated fork, you'd be helping nobody.
