I have a hard drive formatted in exFAT with games in the folders PS3ISO / PS2ISO. The PS3 games work without any issues, but with the PS2 games, PrepISO detects them, I select them, they get copied to the hard drive, I start them, and then the hard drive turns off. A GRAY screen appears and nothing else happens. I can press the PS button on the controller and navigate through the menus, but nothing else.
Running cfw evilnat last versión beta15 on ps3 fat firts model
Thanks
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
1-The game that you're trying is not fully compatible with PS3.
Try a different game. You can also try checking ps2_netemu in /setup.ps3 to force full software emulation to check if there is a difference.
2-The ISO may have been built incorrectly. If it's a CD it may have incorrect sector size. Some PS2 games require some files at specific LBA.
3-It's also possible that the game was copied incorrectly to the internal HDD.
You can try sending the ISO directly to /dev_hdd0/PS2ISO using FTP.
You can check if the MD5 of the ISO in the internal HDD matches with the MD5 of the original ISO.
To check the MD5 use this URL 0/md5.ps3<full-path-of-the-ISO> from the PS3 Internet browser.
