Aldo i need your assistance #1124
Comments
How do you think that I can assist you if you don't describe your issue? You need to provide a proper description of the error, detail your environment, list the exact steps that you're performing and include captures of the stepr or an example of how to reproduce the error. WIthout that information I don't know what you've gone wrong. |
I can't send you a email its.not letting me says it's too long. I can't put screenshots here don't want to expose my information. Where can i send you screenshots. Where have I gone wrong? I had it showing my ps2 games that are stored on my 5tb drive but the 3 ps3 games I had on there in there respective folders wasn't showing up as you can see from the screen shots I've tried multiple folders been sat here all day trying to figure this out. Now it's not even showing anything in my net/0. |
I didn't ask for an email. Report your issue in this thread. Yeah hackers can steal your bank accounts if they know the games you play. You don't have to expose your "information". Only a screenshot of your directory with the games that you're trying to mount. You have already made 2 posts and still haven't said what is your issue... Your case is frustrating!!! |
Let me know what else I need to show you i need to get this up and running so I can format my hard drive back to its full capacity since I can run 5tb using the server method |
I took these photos on my Nokia 3210 |
Your setup on PS3 looks good. Reboot your PS3 and check if you can access the FTP server from PC. Test the communication accessing http://192.168.x.x/net0 from the PS3 Internet browser (use your IP instead of the example) If the problem persists, try running a different version of ps3netsrv (maybe an older version). Unrelated to your issue: For DNS, it's recommended to use google DNS: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 |
Why has it made my pkgi store and ps store in the ps3 game section |
Uncheck the option /dev_hdd0/game in /setup.ps3 and save the settings if you don't want the PSN applications and games listed in webMAN Games menu. In regards to ps3netsrv, the games always are mounted from PS3. It connects to the PC and starts the connection to ps3netsrv. Use http://ip-your-ps3/net0 to check if the games are listed. The port 38008 could be blocked by your router if you turned the firewall off. You can try running ps3netsrv directly from command line. Also you can try an older version. |
Do you mean http://192.168.0.199/net0 |
I can't access this link off my ps3 browser but I can on my phone http://192.168.0.199/net0 |
I guess 192.168.0.241 is your PC and 192.168.0.199 is your PS3. Maybe your PS3 network settings are misconfigured. Try configuring it again, making sure it isn't using proxy and the DSN 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 In For the PS3 Internet Browser navigate to http://0/net0 or from the PC or Phone go to http://192.168.0.199/net0, the games should be listed. You should be able to mount the game clicking on the size value of the ISO. |
Yes you guessed the Ip correctly I reconfigured the ps3 network settings its not proxy i used that dns code. To access /setup.ps3 you go webMAN games then ps3 webman setup? If so the games do not appear the servers not appearing now When I go into the webman setup this appears but doesn't load is it because on the net server pc app my psn is my ps3 one? Hope that's not too confusing for you |
You're almost there. In /net0 it should show the folders PS3ISO, PSXISO, PS2ISO, GAMES, etc. Once you get the folders listed, enter to PS3ISO folder click on |
If the folders PS3ISO, PSXISO, PS2ISO, GAMES, etc. are listed, the games inside should appear on XMB if you run prepISO or refresh XML and reload XMB. |
In ps3netsrv select the parent folder of PS3ISO, not PS3ISO. i.e. select D:\ To disable the CFW syscalls press R2+TRIANGLE |
It said scanning 1109 games so I got happy and restarted it so they'd load up properly and got safe moded without a ps3 pad |
Excellent. Then you're ready. |
Aldo what can I do apart from the obvious leave the ps3 on and go buy a controller from somewhere. It's 2am where I am so can go right now |
I wish I was ready aldo been at it all day to get safe moded when I think I'd just done it |
Try rebooting the PS3. If it doesn't boot normal, you will have to wait to buy the controller |
Aldo i secured the ps3 controller it rebooted fine I think. I had to press webman to install webmanmod again. But now no files showing up in net/0 |
It is not net/0, it is http://192.168.0.199/net0 or http://0/net0 from the PS3 Make sure that ps3netsrv is running before turn on the PS3. If the games are not listed, configure again the IP for PS3NETSRV in /setup.ps3 |
The stat error may occur when a file or folder that webMAN MOD is trying to access is not found. |
I think I've done it. Also how do I know what games need to be installed to play e.g trying to keep the ps3 games off the internal storage because file size is bigger then the ps2 games |
Most games should work directly from the ISO stored in the remote storage of ps3netsrv. However it's recommended to always install the game updates before launch them. |
Okay so I can now format my drive back to 4tb instead of 2tb for nfts? |
There are mixed reports about drives larger than 2TB. Some people have reported success, but many other say that cannot make the PS3 recognize the drive. If your games are working... dont make changes unless you have a spare HDD to experiment formatting it to 4TB. |
Ps3netserv don't know where I've gone wrong
