The whole reason I'm creating Odysseus is to see how well my design ideas help people. So I want to ask.

This can easily be done in Odysseus without harming the experience too much by showing a modal dialog over the new tab page at random, and hide it once the survey has been filled it. This will naturally capture people who Odysseus more which is exactly what I want.

As for the survey itself, I can use Lime Survey.

Now the question is what do I want to ask? And when?

-What do they think of the performance
-Is it their main browser
-How often do they use Odysseus
-What features they would like to see
-If they are not using eOS, which distro are they using.
-How likely are they willing to contribute code
-If they contrbute, what do they want in return
-Other comments

By the way, you should open an instagram/twitter account for Odysseus so more people can know about it. Also a paetron account as well.

As for Instagram/Twitter, I unfortunately can't bring myself to it. Personally I like the community on the fediverse giving me the motivation to use it, and professionally there's a greater cluster of people who might be interested in my offerings.

As for Patreon: maybe. I do have a Liberapay though that fills a similar role. https://liberapay.com/alcinnz

I should clarify that I'm happy to endorse "social" accounts others make, I just don't have the motivation to run it myself.

You should put a librepay banner, or something saying to donate on the main page. I still think you should consider patreon, is more popular.
