Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I’d like to trigger Home Assistant automations when the car’s alarm goes off (i.e., when the siren is sounding). Currently, neither the official nor the custom Tesla integration exposes an entity or event indicating that the alarm is active. It’s frustrating not to be able to detect or respond to an ongoing car alarm in Home Assistant.
Describe the solution you'd like
A dedicated sensor or binary_sensor that reports the status of the car’s alarm (e.g., binary_sensor.alarm_sounding). As soon as the alarm is triggered, Home Assistant would reflect the change, allowing users to create rules and automations (e.g., send notifications, trigger lights, etc.).
Describe alternatives you've considered
Using Sentry Mode as a partial workaround, but it does not specifically indicate the siren is going off.
Relying on the Tesla mobile app push notifications, which works outside of Home Assistant and does not allow for automations.
Creating custom RESTful calls to undocumented endpoints, but that is unreliable and not officially supported.
Additional context
Having this feature would significantly improve Home Assistant’s event-handling and automation possibilities for Tesla owners.
