I was wondering if there is currently a way to disable anonymous LDAP searches/binds in Apricot. This would be very useful in some deployment scenarios, especially those that are not fully isolated or controlled to avoid security concerns.
If this feature isn't already available, would it be possible to consider adding an option to restrict anonymous access? Possible solutions might include:
ACL
providing a set of allowed DNs
allowing only authenticated users to perform searches
