AAPT Error #110

When I try to compile a release version gradle returns this error:

AAPT: error: attribute 'package' in tag is not a valid Android package name: 'rnxmpp'

Using gradle version 4.4 and android gradle plugin 3.1.4

simply change the package name to com.rnxmpp
