Menu bar missing icon #13954
Comments
Thanks for reporting @simon1tan . We will have a look at it. |
@simon1tan I also have that SO and openbox, where are you getting those windows from? |
I'm on xUbuntu running Ubuntu 17.10 32bits, and all Menus are missing, top level and inside the dropdown. Here is the error message I got in the terminal when installing it:
Looks like the icons-file is missing or something else causing problems with xdg-icon-resource. I maybe should get rid totally of my Brackets 1.10 then install again, but I see no reason why a regular update won't work as expected. // Edit: done. still the same error. Also tried to install 1.11 via Synaptic package manager and it refused to install, with the reason: "The package have unresolved or deprecated dependencies" (obviously the "xdg-icon-resource: size argument must be numeric" related issue). It seems that a adobe/brackets/issues/13731 (issue from 27 Sept 2017) type is coming back. |
@parAndrei Can you redownload the builds from http://brackets.io and see if that fixes the issues. We fixed this problem and refreshed our 1.11 builds. |
I can't thank you all enough for all the work! |
Same missing icon issue using Release 1.12 build 1.12.0-17621 (release d3b783b) on ubuntu 17.10. |
Ubuntu 17.04
Brackets 1.11.0-17524
openbox
Brackets seems to be missing a menubar icon. It is using a generic window icon as can be seen in the image. Next to Brackets is Firefox with the proper icon. This becomes problematic when other applications also use a generic icon(yes, they exist).
