Your proposed enhancement

As a user who has to verify reports, I often have to go through drop-down lists containing both active and archived entries (users, customers, projects). I think that it would make sense for these lists to be sorted so that the active entries are shown first, and the archived entries below them.

Enhancement Impact

The list of active entries (e.g. projects) can be navigated more easily, while archived entries are still easily reachable.

Additional context

Example: (heavilty blurred) drop-down of projects for a customer. In this example, there are two active entries at the top, then a lot of archive projects follow, and amidst all these archived projects another active project is hiding:
