This adds a CITATION.cff file to LORIS. For now, I've only added myself as an author as a stub because I haven't had time to go through the repo and find the details of everyone who's contriubuted to LORIS. If you'd like to be included, feel free to push to this branch before it's merged.

Some other key fields (ie. DOI) are missing because it needs to be discussed which value to put.

See https://twitter.com/natfriedman/status/1420122675813441540 for annoucement of the CITATION.cff file on GitHub.

I built this stub using https://citation-file-format.github.io/cff-initializer-javascript/

Thanks. I missed that. Added it to the PR description..

@driusan - Just committed the brand new Zenodo DOI into this file on your branch.
FYI keywords and authors could perhaps be sourced (or else copied) from this record: doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.5177111

Thanks, I'll add the keywords and the authors from that list who aren't here anymore tomorrow

@driusan Can I help out on this to get it merged for 24? It's probably quite close to ready.

No one has added themselves as authors, that's the only thing holding this up.

to do:

  • names to add based on Slack/Loris meeting zoom: Cecile, Alex Livadas, Zaliqa
  • take out of draft mode
  • Last check of keywords

committing to dave's branch
* new LORIS Zenodo DOI (10.5281/zenodo.5177111) Created by Samir today - it points to all releases of LORIS.
* Adding my name

FYI @driusan in case you see this commit message - all authors of the repo are automatically linked from the zenodo entry, it might make more sense to point to that list if possible.

I think this is now complete enough that we can merge it once it passes tests and refine it in new PRs if there's any adjustments needed.
