Tell authors / conference poster presenters how to cite LORIS as a software.
This file should also contain machine-readable citation metadata.

This file should also contain machine-readable citation metadata.

Do you have an example of a format or standard?

  • would also be good to have a zenodo DOI for this project -- like a universal techy doi that would also register Loris in this index of software and data projects. (like NITRC but more broader and meaningful)

  • not unrelated to [DOI] Adding JSON-LD description of LORIS in login page #3024 : machine-readable description of this software-research-project-application-website

    • notes from @xavier today: some amendments though:
  1. The resulting JSON-LD in the login page should describe a https://schema.org/WebSite with its isPartOf property being a https://schema.org/ResearchProject and isbasedOn being a https://schema.org/SoftwareApplication`

We could "hardcode" the SoftwareApplication to what is currently in the PR and the ResearchProject should be editable through the config module or a specific module
