Does nextpnr perform equivalence checking between netlist and placed-and-routed design?

I have a question about the design flow in nextpnr. Is there any form of equivalence checking performed between the input netlist and the placed-and-routed design as part of the workflow?

If not, are there any tools or methodologies you would recommend for verifying functional equivalence post place-and-route?
