Releases: Wunder-Wulfe/NVIDIA-BodyTracking
Experimental driver release (Windows64)
Confused? Make sure to read the FAQ!
- Added manual configuration saving with
Ctrl
+S
(When focused outside of the OpenCV camera view) - Fixed a few launching issues
- If you use the localhost console, it bugs steamvr out a little bit. Be aware of this
- Fixed movement directions for buttons
- Automatic configuration saving works
- Moved the location of the settings file to the root of the driver for convenience
- Reduced file size a bit by moving the openvr dll outside
Experimental driver release (Windows64)
Confused? Make sure to read the FAQ!
Tracking for the positions and rotations following joints are now fully available and supported:
- Hips
- Chest
- Knees
- Feet
- Elbows
- Shoulders
Some things to note about the settings file (!!VERY IMPORTANT!!)
The settings:
- ElbowTrackerPosition
- KneeTrackerPosition
Will affect the rotation of the tracker! This is done to simulate what happens as you move the tracker along your arms and legs.
Known Bugs
- Configuration save bug is still occurring and the root cause is still under investigation
- There is still no active calibration that perfectly aligns your body with the tracker information
- If you turn around (fully facing away from the camera) there may be odd rotation issues with the knees and elbows, simply due to the way I perform the calculations for the IK rotations
Experimental driver release stage 2 (Windows64)
Overhaul on input detection
Camera performance boosted
Interpolation is functional and works decently
Toggle HMD alignment with Z, its designed to try and mitigate drift and offsets
File size reduction (now uses the generic C:/Program Files/......../models
path)
Hold shift and WASD to offset (use when HMD alignment is active)
There is an issue right now where the config cant save, but when that is fixed, it will store your current camera selection and other information
Use this web console to read current input keybinds (only works once steamvr is open)
SteamVR Console
filter by nvidiaBodyTracking
NOTE: this is a testing version of the system and the trackers do not have any rotation anymore
Rotation will be added later and computed manually.
Experimental driver release (Windows64)
This is an experimental release! Report bugs in the discord.
Make sure to read the README.md file on the github page, and also the rotations for the feet and other bones may be odd.
Place it under Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\drivers
after unzipping the folder.
It requires a lot of manual configuration to use right now, and works best if you use interpolation modes as well as high batch sizes and a good camera.
Other settings can be configured within the settings.ini
file hidden in bin\win64
