What problem does this address?

After converting to a columns block, there's not a way to "unwrap" that change in the same way one can with a Group or Quote block. This feels a bit inconsistent and unintuitive. This came up as part of the sixteenth call for testing for the FSE Outreach Program:

It is related to the Columns Blocks transformation above. Is it possible to give it an unwrap option? Just to make it consistent with other grouping blocks (group, quote)?

What is your proposed solution?

When thinking about this work long term to have more consistency #40208 this feels like an avenue to explore:
