Is your feature request related to a problem?

EA has forced users to use the EA App for games like The Sims, and this is not an option for the current release.

Describe the solution you'd like

Support for installing EA App within Whisky.

Anything else?

See this statement from EA: "For Windows, yes, the EA app has replaced Origin. For macOS, we'll be supporting the EA app as our primary gaming destination, but Origin for Mac will continue to be available for Mac players on macOS Mojave and older."

The EA-App used to work before EA pushed a major upgrade that caused it to break, I personally have no plans on resolving this again.

i have ea app working in Heroic with Whiskey 2.3.4 wine and also can install games in ea app and launch directly. Got a quick guide over here. Seems like one needs to use whiskey wine to do intial install of ea app in heroic. then once ea app gets to a blank black screen, kill wine process in macos, finish setup of game in heroic. then in heroic, edit settings of ea app so it then uses d3dcompiler_47 in winetricks and dotnet48 and use latest wine crossover. first time ea app will run a repair on its self and then wil finally load and let one login and install! :)

In order words use my wine-crossover package to install/run EA-App

You could easily skip needing to use Heroic GUI and instead do those parts directly from Terminal be directly installing it

yea, i totally need to move onto using terminal now as i'm finally getting the hang of using heroic and figuring out how to use winetricks too! so many fun things to learn!
