General information

This project is a simple travel blog including new entry submission form, as required for Javascript for Web course at Hamburg Coding School.

Features

  • Example responsive travel website, including basic home page, about page, and more interactive blog page.
  • Add travel entry to local storage through submission form on blog page.
  • An example entry is taken automatically from the script should nothing be entered in local storage.
  • Modal form includes various validations, such as preventing entry of future dates or "departure" dates that are before the arrival date.
  • Display entries on page after submission.
  • Each entry includes a random header image as well as current weather and embedded google map of entered destination.
  • Sorting of multiple entries based on dates using sort function.
  • Allow removal of entries from page and local storage.
