Interesting use case for continuous adaptation, rather than adaptation at discrete breakpoints.

Zach ends up proposing units exactly like @tomhodgins’ proposed ew and eh units – but the use case is what's interesting to me here. Seems scope-adjacent, if (maybe?) not (?) in-scope, for our work here.
