Make Label the top/ front layer

Schematics would probably look at bit better with labels "in front" of wires and dots.
Example with the p0 instance name here:

I suppose the ordered layers could then be (front to back):

• Dots
• Instances & Labels
• Wires
• Grid / Background

We could also break up instances from labels. This would however be a schema change, since the labels and symbols are in a group together.

This is in.
Doesn't look as good as I'd hoped with the current color scheme, since the labels and wires don't have much contrast.
But, better.
