Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Currently there are no fields within the default metadata that show the number of files and folders and total size. This information could be valuable when others are interested in reusing the data. When very large, it could impact access time to the data.

Describe the solution you'd like

Add fields:

  • nr of files
  • nr of folders
  • total size of data

These should preferably be automatically generated, but human filled fields would be good too.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Researcher finding data and first have to click on access package to see what size the data is. If the intent is to reuse many data packages for research, having to click on every data package to find data size is cumbersome.
