Most laptops today charge via USB type C and don't actually have any USB Type A ports so it would be far more attractive if the data lines on the USB type C side were controlled by the BadUSB board vs the other way around.

Can you think of a reasonable way to modify the cables for this purpose? I am pretty handy with soldering and all my IT security training cases need it to look like a laptop charger.

There is now custom handmade usb-c cables.
