unselect a selected cell in a data table

Hi,

whenever I click on a cell within my data table, there is created a yellow background and a black foreground for that cell. As soon as I click somewhere else, this selection mark disappears at its old location and appears at the new cell location clicked.

Now, I want to neutralize the cell selection mark without having to click on another cell (and thus, without creating another mark):

Is there a way to programmatically reset a cell's selection mark after it has been set via mouse click?

Or would it be possible to just set the cell selection mark to an arbitrary location within the data table without using mouse or keyboard activity? I've tried this, but it didn't seem to work:

The coordinate of the cursor is exposed via the cursor_coordinate reactive attribute, if that's what you mean? https://textual.textualize.io/widgets/data_table/#cursors

ok. thanks. Indeed, I can use the move_cursor() method of the DataTable. Unfortunately, I want to just move the cursor out of sight, e.g. at position 0,0 of the table. The problem is that even though I use the parameter scroll=False, the table scrolls in the way that the formerly visible table content moves out of sight (as if I had chosen scroll=True).

Is there an other way to "neutralize" the cursor away from the last clicked location?

Sorry, I don't really understand what you're asking or what you mean by "neutralize" the cursor.

When you click a cell, what do you want the cursor to do exactly? After it has been "neutralized", what happens if you then navigate to new cell with the keyboard or the mouse?
