I am currently working on creating a Conda package for the Drug2Cell repository, but the source link points to the main branch. To ensure reproducibility and stability in the package builds, it is a standard practice to reference a specific tagged release rather than a moving target like main.
Would it be possible to create a tagged release for the current stable version of the code, for example like the tool in this link https://github.com/davebx/bellerophon/releases/tag/1.0 ? This would greatly facilitate the process of packaging and help ensure consistent builds across different environments.

Please check the comment that I received when trying to package the main version:
bioconda/bioconda-recipes#52452 (review)
