Please remove the previous instructor's intro [My name is Carol Molcar] and replace with:
Hello and welcome to your Abnormal Psychology course. My name is Lisa Barker and I am delighted to be your instructor for this course. I’m looking forward to exploring the fascinating world of Abnormal Psychology with you. Together we will consider the misconceptions people often have about mental illness and how attitudes and understandings have changed throughout history. We will also explore how mental disorders are diagnosed and treated. This is a field I am especially interested in as a therapist for many years. You can read more about my background in my profile (click the photo at top right corner of course page). For now, I warmly welcome you to our course and very much look forward to getting to know you and encouraging you in your areas of interest in the field of psychology!
