The alpha release allows users to build and deploy their applications to a remote device via SSH, SFTP, and SCP (when SFTP is not available). Configuration for your endpoint is available through the Tools > Options page under, Linux Debugger.

If your endpoint device does not have VSDBG installed, it will make an attempt to install it for you.
