Merge PDF's alternated

At first: I like this Tool very much.

But there is one small function that I miss.
The alternating merging of documents.

Example:
I have several double-sided pages that I scan. With a single-sided scanner, I scan the front pages first, then I take the pack and scan the back pages.
I now have 2 documents:
Doc 1: front pages with odd numbers (1,3,5,7,9 ..)
Doc 2: Back pages with even numbers (10,8,6,4,2)

I now need the merge function so that both documents are merged alternately and the order of document 2 can be set to "Reverse".

Unfortunately, this is the main function that I use most often in the "PDFSam" software.
It would be nice if I could replace it with Sterling PDF, because I really like the tool. The Docker approach is also brilliant.

Found a Solution in the Issue Section (#414).

But it Would be nice, if it could be implemented as one step.
