Glitches on volume changes with Firefox #42

In Firefox (v57) I'm noticing a lot of glitches whenever volume is adjusted on a sound, including with .fade functions. This is with a fairly fast new MacBook Pro. The exact same project doesn't appear to have these issues in Chrome. Any thoughts?
