ChatGPT told me that I could use the "read_report" function from SticsOnR, but I'm not able to find it: is ChatGPT correct or lying? ;-)

ChatGPT is lying :-)

The function to read report files is SticsRfiles::get_report_results

Is this function available when mod_s***.sti files are not generated (but only the report.sti file)?

Yes this function is always available, but its use is not included in the stics_wrapper function but I guess we could integrate it in future evolutions
