<h1>About Me</h1>
<p>
I am a Fifth Year Computer Engineering student at RIT. I am
interested in Hardware Design and Low-Level embedded
development. I am proficient in a number of languages
including: VHDL, C, Assembly (ARM and MIPS), Python and
learning Rust.
<br>
I am active in a number of organizations:

I currently work as a DSP Engineer at Herrick Tech Labs
(HTL), designing, developing, and testing FPGA platforms
for Software Designed Radios (SDR) applications. I work
with high speed interfaces for FPGA applications,
including Forty Gigabit Ethernet.

Create and test VHDL designs targeting Altera based
FPGA platforms. I use Matlab to test and verify the
designs.

Software Engineering technician at D3 Engineering, where
I primarily worked with Embedded Linux and C development
on Texas Instruments' TDA line of processors, for
automotive vision applications. I also led the design
and execution of the testing framework for the latest
line of products (TDA4 Board). While working with these
processors, I gained experience working with I2C, Linux
Device Tree modification, and other skills.
<br>
<br>
In addition to my responsibilities on the TDA team, I
helped test a Pro-sumer camera product for a customer,
and helped with small tasks using C++/Qt (in the
process of learning C++/Qt) and Python.

Instructor</h3>
<p>The Summers of 2018 and 2019, I worked at iD Tech
Camps, teaching various Technical camps to children
ranging from 7-17, including Python coding, building
circuits and programming them with Raspberry Pis, and
basic Cyber Security and encryption algorithms. My
second summer at iD Tech, I was a Lead Instructor, and
with this promotion, I was one of the management staff
to whom the other staff members could look for advice. I was
in charge of mentoring staff members who were new,
mentoring students if they had troubles, and
administering Medications to students. </p>

<h3 style="text-align: center"> Teaching Assistant</h3>
<p>
While at RIT, I work as a Teaching Assistant. This
means that I am a staff member in a class, and I
assist the primary instructor/professor in teaching
students practical applications of the information
they learn in Lecture. I help teach students how to
debug, and write good code/good practices with
hardware. I also grade students work, and help
manage the the class.

<p>
For The Spring and Fall of 2018, I worked in the
office of Classroom Tech Support at RIT. My primary
job was to respond to Professors' problems in a timely
fashion when any of the technology provided by RIT
broke down. If I could not fix it, I provided them with
a portable cart in order to allow them to continue their
instruction, and escelate the ticket to get the problem fixed.

Designed the firmware for a small scale autonomous
vehicle for CMPE-460 at RIT. Designed firmware to
race the vehicle against other cars, using small DC
motors for the driving power, and a servo for
steering. A line scan camera was used as the input
for the control system. Various control systems were
pursued, in the end a simple proportional control
was used for steering, and a state machine was used
to control speed.

<p>A Pipelined MIPS microprocessor designed in VHDL
for the Xilinx Basys3 Development board. The procesor
was designed in stages over the semester, and then
combined later, when timing analysis was performed to
find the highest clock frequency at which the
processor could function. This was a project for
Digital Systems Design 2 at RIT.</p>
