UPDATE: Due to this bug and others (#801 #691) we are looking at moving from Netlify to [TinaCMS]

See #930

Hi @bradystroud ,

Describe the Bug

Several backslashes are being generated by Netlify when editing rules.

E.g.: https://github.com/SSWConsulting/SSW.Rules.Content/pull/3352/files#diff-2a30d8ccedb58cb9303a5a1096e568370a0360ddb02ba4b3cfc139712305b2b3R48

Picture1

To Reproduce

Unclear when and why this happens, but surely caused by Netlify

  1. Edit a rule in Netlify

Expected Behavior

No slash / backslash generated when editing a rule on Netlify

Tasks

  • Investigate
  • Fix

Thanks!

Note: This problem makes diff comparison confusing... as per @adamcogan 's image on email thread: Re: SSW rules - nothing appears to be changing:
