SVG is invalid

the SVG file sprites.svg is invalid. Won't open in illustrator or affinity designer and won't display on GitHub. All say it is invalid...

Could you say what's wrong exactly?

No I'm not sure, I was never able to get it to work and I'm not an expert with SVG! I did try editing the header of the svg file etc but neither affinity or illustrator would open it. I just ended up getting the font awesome icons as affinity designer assets elsewhere...

The individual icons work fine, it's just sprites.svg does not.

If you go to https://github.com/encharm/Font-Awesome-SVG-PNG/blob/master/sprites.svg, Github will say that the sprites.svg file is invalid as well.

Having the same issue. When I look at the image preview in OSX Pathfinder it shows this:
"This page contains the following errors:
error on line 42 at column 91: Specification mandate value for attribute data-pjax-transient
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error."
Also, can not open the files in Illustrator.
