I was delighted to find your code to help add some pep back into my cnc step. The issue I am having is that my post processor doesn't seem to output very many feedrates. See an included example that cuts a few drawer fingers. When I use your code, it seems to replace the first (and only) F60 with my user defined higher feed rate, but then that is it. It needs to copy the original feedrate, then restore it when dropping back below the user defined Z height. If the output processor issued a feed rate on every line, I think your code would work fine. I can't figure out how to make my post processor do that despite some effort.

I think as an alternative, you could replace any G01 to G00 above the set height. I think that will ignore the original feed rates and just do a true rapid. That way you don't have to save and track the original feed rates. I'll admit I haven't tested this yet, but I'll manually modify a file to see if that works.

I am trying to edit the code to do this myself, but am very novice when it comes to programing and python. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks so much for sharing. I eventually took the original and redid it to add the rapids back in like your readme suggests. I also got it to preserve the original fusion comments and add a stow at the end that I find useful. I have tested it enough to be confident, but need to take the time to double check the comments, do a writeup, and figure out how to post it to git as a fork (or is it branch?) of the OG version.
