Operating System Version

It happens on the web browser too?

No, it just happens on the Desktop app

Rocket.Chat Desktop App Version

4.0.0

Rocket.Chat Server Version

6.8.0, 6.9.1

Describe the bug

There is an issue with the built-in PDF viewer in Rocket.Chat Electron version 4.0.0. When a document is opened and Presentation mode is selected, the Rocket.Chat Electron window loses its top menu bar which includes the Close, Minimize, and Maximize buttons. Additionally, the next time a document is opened, it will also start in Presentation mode. This issue can only be resolved by restarting the desktop client.

How to Reproduce

  1. Open a PDF document using the built-in PDF viewer.
  2. Select Presentation mode.
  3. Observe that the top menu bar (with Close, Minimize, and Maximize buttons) disappears.
  4. Close the document and reopen it.

Describe your Expected behavior

  • The menu bar should remain visible after exiting Presentation mode.
  • The application should not automatically open the next document in Presentation mode.
  • There should be a straightforward way to exit Presentation mode, such as an on-screen button or a keyboard shortcut.
